Free relevant roadmap for Digital Underwater Camera Kits
In a rush to buy an underwater camera for an upcoming SCUBA trip, I thought this looked like a great deal. Lots of extras too. What I discovered is the only thing that matters is that an underwater camera takes a GOOD picture. I was disappointed.The camera itself is made of very cheap plastic and the buttons are very, very small. It runs on 2 AAA batteries, of which 4 are included. These are rechargeable batteries with a recharger. The plug-in recharger had one of the four ports broken, so I could only charge three at a time. A normal dive was between 40 and 60 minutes. The batteries were used up after 20 minutes meaning I lost a lot of possibly good photos. It is true that the flash is bright, but this was also a problem. When I looked at the pictures on land, they were either terribly blurred or completely washed out. However, oddly, the video worked very well and although the video was more blue than I would have liked, it was fairly clear. The land pictures were good
